Andreas Herranz
Freestyle skiing
Place of residence: Les Deux Alpes
Andreas hails from the Pyrenees, where he spent his childhood. From an early age, he was introduced to skiing, and it was thanks to his older brother that he discovered freestyle skiing, a sport that instantly captured his heart.
He soon made his competitive debut, achieving good results, which opened the doors to the renowned Font-Romeu academy, specifically the "Next Generation Hope" section for the under-20s. He later moved to the French Alps, joining the "Les 2 Alpes" club and the "Dauphiné" committee, where he benefited from the guidance of coach Guillaume Sbrava.
After three years of hard work on the committee, his outstanding performances on the European Cup circuit opened the doors to the World Cups.
His determination and results were finally rewarded by his selection for the French national B team for the coming season, coached by the renowned Greg Guenet.
