David Wise was born in Reno (USA) and started skiing at the age of 3. He quickly developed a real passion for the sport. At the age of 11, he joined his first freestyle team with a very quick success as he became US champion at 15 years old. He quickly joined the US team and started in the World Cup at only 18 years old. 

He asserts himself as the leader of his discipline, the Halfpipe, by winning the World Cup in 2012 but it is in 2014 that David enters a new dimension by becoming the first Olympic Champion in Sochi. 4 years later he even enters the legend of his sport by keeping his Olympic title in 2018 in PyeongChang.

David Wise also recognized by entering the Guiness book of records in 2016 by breaking the world record "Hip" with a jump at 14.20 meters high then in 2019 he set a new world record height on "Quarter to bank" with a jump at 11.70 meters high. 

David is clearly one of the most dominant skiers of the last 10 years in Halfpipe.
