At the age of 6, Laurie started snowboarding to follow in the footsteps of her older brother. She progressed very quickly, taking many steps with success until she met her first consecration. At the age of 16, Laurie was crowned Junior World Champion. She made her World Cup debut at home in Stoneham in February 2012 and stood on the podium for the first time in August 2015. 

She continues to progress to reach the top in 2017 and becomes World Champion. She literally explodes in the eyes of the world in 2018, winning the silver medal at the Olympic Games in PyeongChang.

Laurie is in the top 5 in the world and continues to impress with her progress.
