Toby Rafford, 21, is a skier from Sun Valley, Idaho. After spending much of his youth skiing moguls at a ski academy, he discovered his passion for freeriding as a teenager. What drew him to this discipline was the freedom and creativity it offered. Over time, skiing became his preferred means of self-expression.

While competing in the Freeride World Qualifier, Toby struck up a friendship with ski legend Karl Fostvedt, which led to his debut in the "BrapSki" films. He's also been lucky enough to spend time filming with Matchstick Productions in recent years.

Toby recently took first place in North America, validating his qualification for the Freeride World Tour 2025. His goal remains simple: to keep having fun on skis and never lose sight of why he does what he does.
